وأشارت القناة إلى أنّ أحد احتمالات الردّ هو أن يطلق تنظيمًا في لبنان الصواريخ بدلاً من “حزب الله”، مضيفةً أنّ “الجيش الإسرائيلي يمتلك مسبقاً خططًا “غير متناسبة” للرد بحال إطلاق نار من لبنان”.
Channel 12 Israel reported that the security establishment is prepared for all scenarios following the assassination of Haitham al-Tabatabai. The channel noted that one possible form of retaliation is that a group in Lebanon, rather than Hezbollah, might launch rockets. It added that the Israeli army already has “disproportionate” response plans in place in the event of fire from Lebanon.
