The First Investigative Judge in Mount Lebanon, Nada Al-Asmar, issued an indictment decision in the case related to Cedrus Bank (Jounieh branch and the bank manager), following complaints filed by a number of depositors—most notably the well-known dermatologist Dr. Roy Matran—through his lawyer Rita Rahmeh. The complaints concern large financial withdrawals and investment and banking operations allegedly carried out using forged signatures, as confirmed by forensic laboratory reports, and without the knowledge of the account holders.
